The Peak and the ride up

The ride up to the peak was great fun - talking to Jemma about the long piece of metal pulling us up was fun.

The ride was packed.. Was it worth it - yes.

As we  the top I found it funny that there was a commentary but there was too much noise and at the top..

Marks and Spencer's in Hong Kong

We needed a coffee shop for lunch and we weren't doing very well - until...

There was an M 'n' S and the bread and crisps were great...

Kun Yam statue and a trip

Arriving here was certainly interesting - MTR, Mimi bus, bus and walking.

Arriving at the beach my first thought was of the enormous amount of people on the beach wearing shoes......

The temple is superb and the bridge is great - will investigate more - fabulous...

How do we get about?

This was only a secondary thought and it was initiated because of the superb reply from the hotel that we chose to stay in - Butterfly on Hollywood Central.

They made it immediately clear that the best way to get about was to use the MTR - so we are going to look at buying passes for us as soon as we arrive.

They even sent us a map of the MTR - here's the App.

Fingers crossed.

Packing the bag and suddenly realised that we did not know what the weather forecast was - so after reviewing all the Apps I had a look.

Lantau Island

Wow this cable car is certainly high up - something quite new I understand?

Just had our photograph taken.

The cable car has a glass bottom which is a little freaky - good idea Chuen.

The big Buddha looks miles away at the moment. But the battery is running out here...
